Paul Martin (not to be confused with ex prime minister) is an ex soccer player, coach, and administrator who works with the Canadian Soccer Association as well as Ontario soccer. Paul is on a Diversity sub-advisory committee for Ontario Soccer and is a board member of Canada Soccer holding the title of Director of Ontario. In addition Paul is the founder of Black Coaches Canada.
Paul and Marvin discuss his journey through football that has led to him meeting Wanderers head coach Stephen Hart, as well as launching his own venture known as Black Coaches Canada which Marvin recently joined.
Paul advises on how we can continue to foster diversity and inclusion in Canadian soccer.

On episode 5, Kenzie Lalonde joins us after a record breaking week!
Kenzie has recently made national news by becoming the first woman to call a televised league game in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Kenzie works a broadcaster and a host for local company Eastlink TV. She is a former AUS MVP in women's hockey playing for Mount Allison University in the AUS. Kenzie and I speak about her experiences growing up as a female athlete and lack of female role models as well as the culture around women in sports.

Pa-Modou is the current head coach and head of football operations for Pacific Football Club that plays in the Canadian Premier League.
Pa-Modou Kah was born in Gambia, before emigrating to Norway at the age of 8 with his family. Pa-Modou lived all throughout Europe, before moving to Qatar and eventually settling in North America.

On episode 3 I host Dennis Adams. Dennis is a very charismatic and unselfish human being who's main goal is to spread love.
Dennis and I discuss the work he does with Love Nova Scotia, the word love and how we all need to use the word more often and intentionally.
Dennis holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University and a certificate in Non-Profit Management. He has over 30 years’ experience working with youth in Nova Scotia, including 14 years with the Halifax Regional School Board and 17 years with LOVE. He is the recipient of a YMCA Peace Medallion Award, as well as the Ronald Stratford Memorial Award Winner for Outstanding Contributions in Social Work in Province of Nova Scotia.

DeRico is well versed in youth & community work, and social justice issues. DeRico has experience working with youth in residential care, and emergency shelters.

Being a voice for those who cannot be heard, or trying to find a solution to questions that still have not been answered has always been her goal, and according to the Connector Internal Compass “what she is meant to do with her life.
